Tate Marnyi
Tate began playing music at the age of nine, training in classical piano before teaching herself bass guitar in 2020 as she moved towards R&B and pop. Since then, she’s performed internationally as a bassist and backing vocalist, working alongside a range of artists including beaux, contributing bass and backing vocals to his debut album, I Thought We’d Live Here Forever.
Now releasing music as a solo artist, Tate blends R&B and neo-soul, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists. Her sound combines the soft, dreamy melodies of NewJeans, the introspective lyricism of Cleo Sol and Ravyn Lenae, and the soulful instrumentation of Jenevieve and Amaria.
